For Students from India

FFTC’s Part 141 flight school has trained international pilots for years. We offer quality flight training that will make you a competent airline pilot for a competitive price without cutting corners.
The following certificates and ratings will help you obtain the training you need to meet Indian requirements:

In addition, in order to meet Indian requirements, you must be:
  • 10+2 graduate with Physics and Math
  • Be at least 17 years of age
  • Be medically fit
  • Be able to read, write and speak English

Indian students train here because they know the most expensive part of learning to fly is the time in the aircraft. We are very competitive in the flight training market worldwide. Furthermore, we don’t cut corners in training. We will work with you on the special issues specific to international students to help you keep your costs down. We have plenty of resources that you can use for additional study if you so need.

Please note that there is a requirement that you register with the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) before you can start flight training in the U.S. TSA requirements are published here. In addition, if you have a pilot certificate from India already, you will need to validate it in order to use it to obtain further ratings and pilot certificates.
